Atlanta, as is true for most large cities, is rich in tragedies such as war, fire and other types of disasters, natural and otherwise. Consequently, there are a lot of active locations.

Oftentimes, paranormal activity is tied to some sort of unnatural death. A person’s natural tendency is to live out a full biological lifespan. If a person dies unexpectedly or young their spirit may tend to hang around. A ghost of this type would fall into the “unfinished business” category. They also may have a tendency to stay at a particular location or with family members with which they are most familiar. We have investigated claims of paranormal activity quite a number of times where the family members contend that the ghost is a recently deceased family member.

There have also been numerous reports of ghostly activity in and around Atlanta’s Civil War battlefields. Since most of the Civil War casualties were young soldiers, it’s understandable that we would receive so many reports of activity in the locales. Violent deaths of mass quantities of young people are a potent combination for causing a location to be haunted. There are also older home and businesses which were used as impromptu hospitals during the Civil War. We’ve also received a number of investigation requests from these.

Deaths due to structure fires, storms and accidents are frequently catalysts for hauntings due to these occurrences as well. There’s no shortage of investigation locations in a city such as Atlanta. For a dedicated ghost investigation team, that’s just the way we like it.
