As a channel, in addition to working with people, I listen to the energy of a space. Sometimes there are words but most often it is a sense or a feeling. Each space is different.

Some energy I have learned to block because there is too much anxiety or stress. How to explain that? The sensation is like a buzz and can be felt in such a way that it makes it hard to concentrate. And for those in a relationship, it makes it hard to relate. That type of energy is running constant interference. It can be projected by those who inhabit the space in physical or spirit form or it can be a residual imprint of what has gone on before. Some are good vibes, some not so good. It is enough to say I sense it and have to remember that can influence my behavior as well.

In regard to sensing the energy of people, prayers are answered in many ways. When someone requests a companion or friend to share their life or to help in a trying time, those who hear the call and show up may appear in a totally unrecognizable form. Everyone here wears a mask to make the game more believable. Each is playing a role he or she has agreed to in order to provide a material context for spiritual growth. And how to go from there?

Those who are sensitive pay attention to guides and the energy of the connections. Are there hurdles? Are there familiar symbols? Do things seem to be in sync? Are there blocks to work through? Is it a long-term connection or is there a specific issue to be addressed and resolved so that the individuals can move forward and onto those waiting for them to tie up loose karmic ends.

All that stuff can be tough to sort out in the middle of an emotional upheaval such as a death, a financial crisis or dissolution of a primary/significant relationship. And such is life.

So, when one is doing the work, one must learn new ways of seeing things and trust that there will be guideposts. While each individual ultimately has free will in the matter of choice, those in spirit can and do reach in to assist, redirect and support.

At a critical time in my life, the nightlights began acting in a way that intrigued me. As a result, I opened my intuitive gift box, shifted my life connections and changed direction. I learned to channel and so much more. I became consciously and creatively connected to spirit companions who offer love, guidance and assistance 24/7. And the totally amazing thing to me – their presence can be seen in the actions of nightlights.

Each can find a way to reconnect with his higher purpose in his own way. When the inner foundation is solid we discover it isn’t about the light around us. What really matter is the light we carry that helps to guide us. And the more we fuel that flame the fewer inner clouds on the journey.

When we are ready to grow, we reach out and make new connections and when we don’t… they appear and give us a prod. Life becomes illuminating!
