Richmond, VA, United States, 02/12/2009 - "Science Meets the Supernatural in New Radio Show". Author Beth Brown to launch “Ghost Lab Radio” on the Para-X Radio Network (powered by CBS) beginning February 15.

Ghost Lab Radio is a far cry from the campfire tales you shared when you were young. The hour-long program, hosted by paranormal author and lecturer Beth Brown, and her robotic co-host Nick, will provide listeners with solid scientific theories about ghostly phenomena. Ghost Lab Radio airs on the Para-X Radio Network on Sundays at 5:00 PM EST.

“I was receiving so many questions from paranormal investigators about the tools and techniques used on television programs focused on the supernatural that I felt the need to get back to basics,” Brown says. “Basics for me means science – that where we’ll eventually find answers. Knowing first what you are looking for will certainly help you think of a sensible way to go about finding it.”

Each episode of Ghost Lab Radio will feature:
• Simple Science – easy to understand explanations of scientific theories, processes, and mechanics that relate to the study of paranormal phenomena. Content is geared towards the 12-25 age group.
• Investigator’s Workshop – step by step instructions for building and customizing equipment that are easy enough for beginners. Includes web links to source lists and written/illustrated directions.
• Field Test – scientifically designed experiments (combining the Investigator’s Workshop creation and Simple Science discussed that hour) for listeners to conduct while researching paranormal phenomena.

Ghost Lab Radio (ghostlaboratory.com) episodes will be available to download as podcasts on iTunes after their original air date on the Para-X Radio Network (para-x.com).
