Canada's premier science fiction author, Robert J. Sawyer, hosts the world premiere VisionTV documentary anthology series Supernatural Investigator, premiering next Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT.
Supernatural Investigator takes a critical look at otherworldly happenings in an attempt to separate fact from fiction. Each half-hour documentary follows an expert investigator as he or she brings rigorous, real-life scrutiny to a search for the truth behind so-called paranormal phenomena.
The investigators include futurist Mac Tonnies, archaeologist Joel Palka, science writer and adventurer Jeff Warren, magician Jeremy Bennett, and musician Tara Slone.
Robert J. Sawyer has been called "the dean of Canadian science fiction." He is one of only seven writers in history to win all three of the science fiction field's top honours for best novel: the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award. His 17 novels, which have appeared on bestseller lists in Canada and the U.S., include Frameshift, Factoring Humanity, Flashforward and the popular "Neanderthal Parallax" trilogy: Hominids, Humans and Hybrids.
On the premiere episode of Supernatural Investigator:
"The Antichrist"
