The heady mix of history, mystery, myth and legend is enough to spellbind even the most cynical soul. There is a lot of fact and a lot of fiction, it's up to you to decide which is which.

Although the tales of terror are not for the faint hearted, this walking tour is done at a very gentle pace, around Cathays Park the jewel of Cardiff's architectural crown. With no hills to climb the tour is wheelchair friendly, and there is plenty of free parking.

The tour has been running since July 2001 and is widely regarded as one of the most informative and entertaining in Britain. It has become a hit with people from all over the world aged from 8 to 98. It was created by David Thompson, a professional actor and tour guide and holder of the distinguished Wales Blue Badge.

When does it run? It runs all throughout the year on any evening of the week at the time you want for group booking only ie 10 or more people, or if less than 10 there's a minimum charge of £40.
