Men With Red Eyes: Creepy Encounters in Chile, U.S., and U.K.

If you were walking down the street and encountered a man with ‘glowing red eyes’ what would you do? Start to dial 911 then imagine the response from the operator before you punch in the numbers. An operator who will ask if you’re under psychiatric care? Or, a man with glowing red eyes floating down a street? Luckily for the villagers in Chile who witnessed the man, parapsychologists were called in to investigate extremely unusual poltergeist activity occurring at one of the villager’s home. The woman in the U.K. who saw the man with glowing red eyes walking down the street was ‘so shocked she couldn’t talk’. She decided she couldn’t tell anyone for fear of being labeled ‘insane’. A third encounter, an ‘evil’ shadow man with bright blood red eyes who appeared in a 12-yr-old boy’s room. The boy, when he was 18, posted online what occurred.

There’s a website in South America, Inexplicata-The Journal of Hispanic Ufology, which has numerous fascinating posts including the latest in UFO reports and reports of strange creatures including the ‘Hopping Phantom of Calchin’:

Reports of strange humanoids resembling the legendary “Springheel Jack” came out of Argentina in the mid-Aughts (2004-2007) and were widely circulated in the local and foreign press, as readers beyond Argentina became acquainted with all manner of “petizos” and “pomberos” and other improbable parahuman creatures.

Our friend and colleague Christian Quintero (co-founder of Planeta UFO with Guillermo Gimenez) has drawn our attention to the reappearance of one of these bizarre humanoids in the town of Calchín, Cordoba Province (pop. 2000). Sightings appear to have commenced in August 2010 and have attracted considerable attention in the print media and on Argentinean radio (Christian has kindly sent us mp3 files of local radio shows featuring witness accounts)

Another post which caught our eye, South America’s Procession of the Damned, a poltergeist report with a ‘Man in Black’ which occurred in 1976 in Chile. The story similar to reports of stones falling on a house ‘out of thin air’. In this case, stones and human bones, the bones purportedly ‘thrown’ into the house through the windows without breaking the glass. The report tied to ‘Red Magic’, ufo’s, and cattle and horse mutilations. A mysterious man in black, who, according to several witnesses, had ‘red eyes’, an evil presence who hovered several inches above the ground.

Over at the site Above Top Secret, an individual from the UK reported they saw a man with ‘glowing red eyes’.

I was recently out with some friends in London and we were walking back to our cars/bus stops/whatever. I turn around from saying goodbye to one friend and saw a guy walking towards us. This, in itself was not unusual, but the fact that as he looked up his eyes were glowing bright red like he had light bulbs for eyes! He looked directly at me and then looked downward and continued walking past, disappearing into a crowd of people trying to get on a bus.




I was so shocked I could not talk. I choked back the shock as my eyes welled up as we walked back to my car. I was continuely checking over my shoulder for that man with the glowing red eyes. He was gone but the image of him was emblazened on my retena.

As soon as I moved in I always felt like something evil was watching me, every where I went I always felt like eyes were watching my very move day and night but I just through it off like it was my imagination and at the time that is what I thought it was. I was WRONG REALLY, REALLY WRONG. Months went by. I still felt uneasy.

Then one night when I was half asleep I was still very cautious but I swore I heard a voice that said “I’M COMING FOR YOU!” And at that point and time I’m awake I open my eyes and there it was, a tall shadowy figure who looked like a male around in his 30′s but all I cold notice out of him was his bright blood red eyes. The figure flew across the room on to my bed and instantly I was paralyzed. I wanted to scream but I couldn’t there was too much fear in me I wanted to close my eye’s but I couldn’t then a big ball of black cloud like mist spewed into my nose and I started to have visions of roman like people and… this one monster or demon but all I focused in my mind was his eyes bright blood red. It looked at me and the next thing I heard, “you shall not hurt this boy.” I look to my left and I see a bright light and a man tall looked like he was in his late 20′s early 30′s long brown hair and a long brown beard and at this time I did not know who god was or Jesus for that matter.
