hts which switch on and off when nobody is around, footsteps heard in empty rooms and cellars which feel "oppressive" and "evil".
Richard Felix will visit the pub on Saturday, January 23, along with members of Northants Paranormal and two psychics.
They will bring night vision cameras and filming equipment and will be probing the inn's barns and stables as well as a secret underground tunnel never before investigated.
Manager Steve Smith, who lives upstairs in the pub, said: "I'm looking forward to the investigations but I'm a bit sceptical to be honest.
"There are noises and there's a room downstairs in the cellar which is straight out of Most Haunted but I don't know if they'll find anything."
Anyone aged 18 and above who wishes to attend the event can book by calling the pub on Northampton 639472 or contacting events organiser Daniel Mason on 07769 903873 or 07816 555570.
The evening, which begins at 8.30pm and ends at 2.30am, costs £39.99 per person including a hot meal. Participants are urged to bring warm clothes, a torch and a camera.
