UFO Accounts in Ancient China

China is currently going through something of a UFO craze. Credible sightings of UFOs are being reported almost daily.
All News Web recently reported extensively on a big UFO event whereby at least 22 schoolchildren saw a UFO and no less than 9 took photos and film footage: some of which was extraordinary (See this article and the image below)
The normally conservative government newspapers are also taking an interest in matters of an extraterrestrial nature and this UFO event in Kunming was recently covered by China Daily.
In all of this excitement over UFOs one idea that is gaining ground in China is the theory that aliens visited ancient China and helped the Chinese develop their remarkable civilization. This week the well known media outlet, China.com, ran a story on the Chinese version of the ‘Ancient Astronaut’ theory.
Ancient records exist telling of God-like beings that came from the sky and were able to read the minds of earthlings using telepathic powers.
These Star people’s vehicles were described in a manner reminiscent of modern UFO accounts. A recent ancient discovery of an ancient chrome plated sword has also added fuel to this theory on the basis that chrome plating is a modern technology. Some scientists even allege that the Great Wall of China was built with the assistance of extraterrestrials.
